it is hideous, but I want to fire one just because it's there.
How well it would work at what?
I don't know how you market something that has no practical purpose, but maybe the folks at Mossberg think it will sell itself. This maybe proof that the shotgun has reached its pinnacle of versatility and there is nowhere else to go.
A 12 gauge ain't a .50, and even if you want a break, you don't need one that is designed to handle propellant gases from a powder charge 200 grs heavier than the 40 grs you load in 3" 12 gauge.
a brake like that would turn a magnum slug into a .22mag if it was designed properly... question is did they design it to be a tacticool add on or a serious piece of kit?
wow an other useless shotgun...
funny.... armalite seem's to think a muzzle break has a practicle use...

and from what i have been told by a close friend who own's an AR-50 it works VERY well.... a brake like that would turn a magnum slug into a .22mag if it was designed properly... question is did they design it to be a tacticool add on or a serious piece of kit?
