My daughters new boyfriend made her an emoticon that is appropriate to IPSC shooters..........

He even made a blue one for me. Hers is pink.


Being my daughters boyfriend of course HE STILL MUST DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!!!:ar15::ar15::ar15::shotgun::shotgun:;)

You know, maybe you should take the kid out to the range and give him a good impression as to what will happen to him if he doesn't keep six inches of daylight between the daughter and him, or if he fails to bring her home early :p

Oh come on, give the guy a break. He is trying so hard to look good in your (and your daughter's eyes !! LOL Maybe he's not a shooter but that emoticon is awesome. He obviously put some time in. Your daughter could do worse. Stop scaring him so bad . . .
 
Got the slide staying open when empty, too. Nice bit of attention to detail for a person that's new to guns.

You have a point.............a buddy of mine just found out that his daughter who is 3 months older than mine is Prego..

Her Boyfriend does not have grade 12 has no job and is a dirt bag.

She is likewise out of a job but at least has grade 12............

My daughters beau has two jobs and is in school........Meh.

I have TRIED to be nice....HONEST!

But every time I meet him and shake his hand it is actually SLIMEY.
I am told that he gets sweaty when he is nervous............and that I intimidate him. But how can that be when I AM TRYING TO BE NICE DAMN IT!
 
When I met my last girlfriend's dad, he gave me a death threat. Not because I had given him a reason to (it was my first time seeing him), but just because I was the new guy. I was 18 and a half and she had just turned 17.

"If you hurt my daughter, I'll kill you." - him
"I would expect nothing less." (as I smile)

I shook his hand and me and the new girlfriend went for a walk. Later, while he was preparing supper I approached him and chatted for several minutes. We both made it clear we wouldn't bull#### each other and if there was something to say it would be said to the other person's face. That went both ways.

I later heard that I surprised him quite well with my reaction to him. In a good way of course. That was well over a year ago, and we still have a great relationship...

Man, I'm not a father but I can definitely conjure up a wild guess as to just how pissed your buddy is at that little punk who wouldn't wear a rubber...

As for your case, well, that's something else. I keep being told that as a father, it's your sworn duty to scare the living #### out of your daughter's boyfriends. Hell, a friend of mine asked me to show up with some of my swords whenever his daughter brings the boyfriend home the first time. And really, if you intimidate him, even if he's a good kid, that's a good thing. It'll keep him honest.

And besides, he knows (or at least thinks he does) what you'll do to him if he crosses the line at any given point.

And as Al Capone said, you get further with a kind word and a gun than with just a kind word :D

The first time I met my daughters boyfriend ( this one in particular is past tense, as in she dumped him shortly thereafter ) I was cleaning the handguns and a rifle at the workbench, having just got back from the club shortly before she brought him home.
As soon as he saw the table array, he went pale. He sat on the chair and didnt move...merely stared.
I asked a few questions attempting to be somewhat friendly.....
She came back into the room after a while and they left.
He never came back to the house after that.....
I wonder if there was a connection there....
Her new beau is a shooter/ hunter....I like him better.
 
Guys, check out the song called "cleaning this gun" I think the singers name is Rodney Atkins.:)
Yeah i know it's country.
