how can dlask inscribe full auto settings an yet ATR cannot ??

Who cares the how or why just be glad they do, or not, personally if I want full auto I can just head to the range with my work rifles.A Pictogram or Auto marking on a semi lower is at best wishful thinking ,at worst it's just ###.

what if the pictogram had explicit instructions for bump firing..... :D

You guys like that?

Not knocking Joe Dlask or his endeavors, just the design choices made.

From a typographic and design perspective, it's terrible. They make a nice lower, but the design department sucks.

So many different typestyles and sizes, an outline type too. No visual priority given to the most important items, for instance, why is the serial # so damn big, and everything is randomly all over the place.

Two thumbs down from me ... just too much crap going on, and on both sides of the receiver at that.

EXCELLENT question. Rest asured I will be asking it of the RCMP pronto.

Ummmmn, whether I believe the "faux auto" markings are a good idea (I don't) or not, maybe we could avoid turning in our competitors & brothers to the man for a change.

Whether it's legitimate sour grapes or not, all this running to the authorities is like a school yard fight where the bully runs to the school yard teacher to help bully the other kids.

I realize that ATR is not trying to specificly hammer DLASK, but for crying out loud, don't we think about the consequences of our actions for a Frakin' change.
