T/C Triumph

Does anyone have any shooting experience with this gun, I don't want a switch barrel so I think this one looks good and is in the budget.

I shouldered several of the Triumphs at the local gun emporium. Using the open sights I found that the stock comb contacted my face just below my cheek bone. The comb seemed a little sharp in proile too. I've had a few guns in my life that were like that - great flinch inducers. They could only be fired without pain with a scope. The Omegas I tried fit me better.

It may not be the same for U but I'm just saying.

That said, alot over on the modern muzzleloader site love them - especially with the new BH209 powder. Seems the combo is made in heaven. Accurate and good $$$ value most are reporting.

I have one as well, just love it, great shooter, light to handle and very well ballance, not like regular ML's that are nose heavy

I noticed the stock ran high too, but I don't think it will matter with a scope.

i checked them out too and realy liked them thy did fit very well .but i ended up with the budget gun a cva wolf and have no regrets it shots great

I actually prefer the stock on the Triumph over the Omega, at least with a scope. And yes, they are deadly to at least 279 yards!

Just picked one up before Christmas...A gift I bought myself from the family...had to take a few pops before Christmas.

I am new to muzzleloading but I found it extremely comfortable to shoot. Put 110 grains of granular 777 with a 250 grain T/C Shockwave. Didnt seem to be much recoil.

I use 777 2x50 grs and 300 grain Hornady SST, to hunt deer, shots well, mine did not like the shockwaves at all.

Mine developed a problem this year in that, the trigger guard that snaps and holds the barrel closed is way to sensitive and the slightest touch opens it.

I posted the problem and got lots of ideas, still have to call the warranty office.

I don't think its a big problem, and definitely not something to suspect in all models.

I shoot 200gr Precision rifle "Dead Centers" with 100gr 3F 777...works good for me.
