Leapers 30mm Red Dot

I ordered one of these to mount on my Ruger MkIII. Not expecting alot for $70 but thought it might be ok for 25M plinking.

Anybody else have one?

Yeah, never really had much luck with it. Had it on a 10-22 but never killed anything with it. Put it on mostly for looks, or when I'm using it within 50 feet or need to keep shots within about 3-4 inches

I was looking at that one for my SKS and was told by a someone more experienced with red dots than myself that the following Tasco red dot from Canadian Tire for $49.99 was a better buy......

i've had my tasco from ct for a while now and it has been great. can't say that i'd stake my life on it though, still a tasco

Never knew about that one at CT or I might have tried that. I know nothing about scopes other than I didn't want to spend $300. I"ll try this for now and probably will eventually go with something of better quality like the Burris Fastfire.

On certain nights we can only shoot rimfire at my club so I thought this may make shooting the .22 a little more interesting.
