Norinco 8 gauge sxs? Would you buy one?

Personally I have handled JW-2000 once. The action open/close nicely but is not "as smooth as glass" or "as smooth as butter". Didn't get the chance to fire it at that time.

Can't wait to see my Outlaw. Will let you know how good/bad it is.

BTW, just curious, Marstar offers Ironclad Guarantee, why didn't you friend just return them if they were that bad?

No. So, they're not contradicting each other. We get it, you don't like Norinco products. Norinco makes crap products that no one buys. No one bought their m-14 copies or their tt-33, SKS copies or anything else.

I obviously have not tried a Norinco 8 gauge SXS, because one does not exist, except in the fantasy of a few:D Nor have my friends recommend that I stay away, probably because the gun is just a fantasy and I do not pay much heed as to what fantasy friends say. I make up my mind bases on my own information.

Your contradicting statements have nothing to do with the fantasy 8 gauge. The two statements within the same post which I attempted to quote tag were in direct contradiction to each other. The first was something about guns that you would not buy for some reason and the second you stated that you would buy all except for two. I simply pointed that out:D

Put your reading glasses on. I said there are tons of firearms I wouldn't buy for many reasons. Price being one... practicality, quality in my eyes. Quality is a lot more than most think it is. If a spitball suits what I'm looking for, it's quality in my eyes. Might not be quality in yours, but to me, it means jack sh*t.

I also went on to say I wouldn't buy the Mini14/30 or the Rem 710, based on what my friends have told me. Since you have no sources to even suggest that a Norinco SXS 8ga would be crap, you're jumping on the stereotype that ALL Norinco made firearms are garbage. Not so.

It's a good thing that you still don't like Wendy and her gang.

Just don't use Wendy/Miller's Propaganda tongue on manufacturers, dealers and importers. They are our friends, even sometimes they didn't reach our high expections.

Just because one does not love and embrace and drool over the cheap junk guns that floods the market, does not mean that one is an anti. Just because one points out product that is really sub standard and not worth the price does not mean one is an anti.
Just because one questions the wisdom of buying a firearm that does not have an established ammo source, does not make that person an anti. etc. etc.

The "anti" word seems to be the only defence. If you don't like a certain gun for whatever reason you are labeled an "anti". It's being used as a scapegoat.
 
I never judge what a person shoots with whatever one chooses to shoot. When I can not get out to shoot clay we shoot, potatoes, zucchini, crab apples etc. I have done this with 5 different gauges. I often do this when a gun deal goes down on my place. I have not tried business cards yet as my wife probably can not throw them very far. So I will not seem so judgmental, I will be sure to shoot a few at my first opportunity. I have also shot flys in flight, but because I have never found the dead carcass my wife does not believe that I have hit them.

You guys really need to get a life and move on. If you don't want to buy or don't think the idea will fly for this particular shotgun, then fine. But why do you keep continuing your little pissing contest? We get it, you don't think it'll work and you hate Norinco products.

It may not good enough to you, but I am not going to sell my house to buy a Purdey.

Yes, because affordable SXS's are disappearing.

Not trying to kill anything! The original poster simply asked and I would assume that he would like to weight the pros and the cons and not just what he wanted to hear. Maybe he should have specified that he only wanted to hear:

Put me down for one! We can't hunt game with them, but nobody said anything about splatting seagulls and gophers with them! Besides, the true joy of having an 8-bore is the absolutely bada** round ball loads you could use for hunting deer, especially in primitive weapons season! Yes, quite.

In Alberta an 8 gauge is not lawful for wildlife and in Canada seagulls are protected. Gophers? I would love to see pics:D
