Does anyone know how to go about listing and selling pistols in the US? There isn't much of a market for the 12(6) stuff up here.
Or is this not possible any more?

The majority of our 12(6)'s are not allowed to be imported by US laws dating as far back as 1968.

If you price them right they sell up here.

What kind of 12/6 guns are we talking here?

Do you mean the Savage 1907 32acp pistol you have for sale at $300?

.

12.6

Some 12.6 guns are worth the conversion to six inch barrel but very few. There all destine for the chopper. Thanks to the Government,The lack of people with the proper 12.6 lic makes the price. Just a matter of time.

IMAT

Sure did. Listed them at half what they sell for in the US and got offered less than half of that.

If it was your FS post of the Savage .32ACP in the EE I just read it & it sounded like you were desperate. Could be the reason someone low balled on what you were asking. But low balling and tire kickers are a fact of life in the EE anyway.

If they stay in Canada, with the eventuality of time, aging and the governments prohibition, the ultimate total value of all the 12(X) firearms in Canada will be $0.00.

Here. I fixed it for you.
;)
High balling and price-gouging is a fact of life in the EE anyway.

After their lieberalification they'll be worth...well how much does a fence post go for these days?

Shoot the hell out of them (12.6) cause once you die who cares the wife cant have them unless they have a pal only for the ones that are older then 1946 then it would fall under the 12.7 class the newer then 1946 i would state in my will that they should get deactivated.Or sell what you can now and get a little something or nothing i guess thats the way it is now with the gun laws that we have i know it sucks big time. Some of mine 12.6 guns the grips are worth more to the American collectors then what i can get for my guns here now thats bad LOL...

NIB modern prohibs might easily fetch more than they ever cost the original buyer. I once paid $1,400 for a Sig P225. I paid $900 for a Glock 19 in mint condition.
It's just that there are no more "collectors" in Canada who care about old relics.

It's not that collectors don't care about old relics, even your NIB modern prohibs will be worth $0 someday unless the prohib status is lifted. I hope those prohibs are not part of your retirement nest egg. I have my share of 12(6) handguns devaluating a bit everyday too, so like others have said shoot the hell out of them while you can.

I have found prohib handguns sell very fast if priced right. I just sold my last Smith 629 3" with finger groove grips for $1000.00. I payed 425.00 when it was new. I just bought a mint Smith m60 snubbie, one of the first 200 produced, for $225.00 from a dealer.

If I had your Savage I would ask $150.00 at most.
