Hello guys

I have been recieving P.M.'s and reading posts here on gun nuts from guys in the interior of B.C. and the North Coast who are just not getting thier share of the M14 Love :D by way of m14 clinics.

SO...... If you want a clinic in your area..... network with other local M14 owners and organize a location and possible dates and I will try and accomodate you.
Starting in June, I will be taking the West Coast M14 Support Group on the road, heading north through B.C. . I will be makingthis one long fishing trip hehehe and will end up in Edmonton.... or I may kick it off with Edmonton early June.

So.... I am willing to bring the clinics to you........ williams lake, 100 mile, kamloops, Vernon, okanagan, prince george quesnel, terace/kitimat/rupert..... ect ect ect.

I run my clinics in my home but a local shop, gunrange club house... ect, will do the trick.

so PLEASE , all you B.C. interior M14 luvvers POST HERE and network together to get this happening ..... and I will bring the West Coast M14 Support Group Travelling Roadside M14 Clinics to your town.

Ok Williams Lake or Quesnel would be a good place for a clinic! How many Cariboo M14 owners are there? :D

BTW What kind of space do you need 45ACPKING to host your clinics?

Sadly Likely is so far out of the way, otherwise the Town Hall would be perfect :(

Put me down for either one of those locations. Willy's Pond is better for me, less driving but Quesnel is worth the drive for an M14 clinic!

the point is .... someone on the ground must be able to organize this for the area proposed..... I can only say yes or no to the dates proposed by those organizing your area...

so.... if you guys want clinics...... each area will need someone to take the reigns and make it happen. I'll do my part if someone can get the ball rolling by securing a location in thier area...... be it the shop/garage at someone's residence, a gun range club house or? ?

Guys...
A 10'x15' living room works fine...you may not be shacked up at the end of it, but 'M14 Love' takes precedence :D...yes...?:dancingbanana:

You NEED to take the initiative here...you won't be disappointed. It ain't goin' ta' "just happen", if you don't pony up the effort. There is no COST, just abit of thought, required.

Does that include me? Are you taking me on the road?

Seriously, so long as they are after the middle of June I might be able to swing at least part of the trip. High School ends, then I am free for most of the summer, finances depending.

WhoHooo...!
Road Trip...!:dancingbanana:
Be cool to finish that puppy off with the Tactical Response Fighting Rifle course in Peace River...:D

Hey...If you have 2+ M14S owners, and good fishin'....let Tom know...It don't take much....

GOOD fishing we have, but I'll be the only M14 owner out here once my M14 arrives! Depending on the day (Sunday-Tuesday) we'd have a free place to use (aka the Likely Bar) since it's closed three days of the week and is free for me to use. :D

you guys don't know how true that is hehehe
ifyou think i'm a gun nut first ...... you haven't fished with me yet :D

before i got into customizing M14 rifles and making stocks..... I worked in the sports fishing industry, fishd 150 + days of the year, ran my own custom fishing rod building business, tied custom flies to order..... fishing guide, fishing course instructor and on and on :D

So.... what Doc911 stated above ...... is very true hehehe ;)

Well then we need a decent amount of people willing to come out to my haven to learn about M14's and fish! I've already got the ok from the Manager of the bar that as long as we do this on one of the three days the bar is closed then it's fine (I have the keys to the bar and the pool tables anyways).

I was wondering where Likely was, then I discovered that is it right near Horsefly. Of course. How silly of me. Now I know exactly where it is. NOT!

Edit: So after zooming out on google maps like thirty seven times I discovered that it is on the way to Prince George. It doesn't look that far away after all. With Quesnel and Williams Lake nearby you can't possibly be the only M-14 guy around.

I'm still in and I like the idea of the tac rifle course.

Depending on how you drive it's an hour to an hour and a half (actually I can do it in 45 minutes) drive north east of Williams Lake/150 Mile.

For fishing you have two rivers, the Quesnel and the Cariboo. There is one major lake, Quesnel Lake which requires a big boat and down riggers, one semi major lake, Spanish Lake, and so many small lakes that I can't keep track of them all!

Casters or Fly, there is fishing for both a plenty!

wow I really though there would be more than just pow and I who would be interested in a clinic in the cariboo....

Oh. You have mistaken me for a caribooner. I am from the Vancouver area and would have been coming up with 45 to help out with the clinic thing. I am another "work on things that go boom" nutter.

Unfortunately there has been almost no response from m14 owners outside the LMZ ..... so..... it's a bust. I have a time line for when i have to have these kinds of things planned by and it's rapidly approaching.

I'll continue to run my monthly events here and out of towners are welcome of course.

Well sadly it looks like a bust, so far there is only me and two other people for the Likely area with M14's. Ah well looks like I'll just have to teach myself the hard way :D
