Has anyone seen the new blueline shotguns in the exchange.
Multi- barrel combos with different sized magazines in 6.5", 8.5" and 12.5"

all I can say is wow.

kind of expensive at about 1600$ for the complete kit and 1000 for the base six and a half incher but talk about a cool kit.

Interesting... I wonder if the barrels are made by Dlask? They appear to have the same front sight as Dlask's short barrels.

They are pricey, no doubt, But keep in mind that the mag tube needs to be modified by a gunsmith and an aftermarket forend needs to be used because of the shortness of the 6.5 inch barrel. The 8.5 inchers from Dlask were selling for $850 so $975 for a 6.5 inch gun isn't out of line, really.

Given a Serbu Super Shorty goes for around $880.00 CDN (currency conversion) taxes out - the price for this unique system doesn't seem out of line. Also note that you can't purchase a Serbu in Canada which means this is the only supplier in Canada.

Agreed, these have DLASK written all over them, with a premium price tag.

How much is Dlask selling them for?

This is a new model.......for people who want to mount a bayonet on a 12.5"er:eek:

Dlask sells their 8.5" 870's for $850. so the price for the 6.5" is not out of line considering the extra that goes into making it.

And after just now looking at Dlask's website, I see that the 6.5" gun is manufactured by Dlask and sold exclusively through Blue Line Activities. So there ya go! That answers that question.

As for the bayo comment... You lost me... I don't see a bayo lug.. Unless you are referring to the standard remington +2 mag tube extension that comes stock with bayo adapter.... But you would still need a lug on the gun..

They are dlask built rem 870 express.
Not sure why they are $100,s more then the retail price dlask sell them for??

How do you figure that? All of the Blue Line guns are using the Dlask-customized Remington 870 reciever made for the 6.5 inch barrel. The Dlask 8.5 inch guns sell for $850 from Dlask and don't have the vertical fore-grip. I'm not sure what Dlask was listing the 6.5 inch guns for, but I do remember that it was noticeably more than the 8.5 inch guns... and the longer barrels come with mag extensions to maximize capacity for each barrel length. I dunno... To each, his own I guess and everyone is entitled to his own opinion. But I don't see a big enough price difference to worry about.

The extra $$$ are for the foregrip and the railed steel custom forend (not the 8.5" cutdown plastic forend). So it's just increased manufacturing costs.

Check out the 12.5 in this picture....with the lug moved back on the barrel you can use a plus 2 extension and one of badboys bayo mounts to mount a bayonet....if you want!

i can see now that the mag tube has been cut down on the longer gun and that the gun with the +2 mag tube is really a 6.5 with a +2 makeing is 12.5 or 14".
I get it now, did not understand the 1st time, very cool idea!!
The railed forend is from dlask as well, i think i have seen one of one of the members 6.5" mag feed shotguns.

The foregrip does look like a better piece of work on the 6.5". I've been endlessly looking for a replacement for my 8.5"Dlask cutdown plastic forend. So far no luck....

Has the CFC/RCMP given a hard line answer on this yet?
YEAH I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN ASKED BEFORE

CFC/RCMP is just an opinion anyways. Want a real answer, put the pistol grip on, use it away from a range, get arrested/charged, and find out in court.

Canada is a joke at times.
