hi, placed an order a few days ago, just wondering if i would recieve an email when order is processed, or if it gets sent out and ill get a nice surprise :)

thanks

order # 3938563

Go into there web site log in and check the status of your order. When the product is in stock and the order is at the last stage of processing it will say processed. If its a firearm it might stay like that for awhile there is paperwork to be arranged. When it is shipped you will get a e-mail with a tracking number so you can track it through the Canada post process.

Time to hire more people....maybe

I think the problem with CANAM is a staffing problem. If a product is in stock and all your information is in order and in my case in the same area as them it should not take two weeks to even start to proccess your order. My order is still Queued since Jan 9. When contacting them via e-mail the responce I got was " Very Busy proccessing orders"..... I orderd a restricted firearm from MARSTAR on Jan 4 and the product was at my local post office Jan 15.....

bjs...

The difference is with Marstar, they didn't just have a container arrive with hundreds of items, most of which is already sold.

On a typical day, I doubt marstar sells more than a dozen firearms. Ditto Canam.

However, when a container arrives, they have to process say... 300?

300 is an awful lot to handle in a couple of days. Two weeks is likely an exagerration, but a couple of extra days is not.

You don't hire and pay extra staff all year round for the 4 days a year you'll actually need them.

I will offer 2 hours of free labor to help CANAM package T97 for shipping, only condition is: I can pack my order of the T97 and take it home with me afterwards.

PAUL MORRISON;
Come on now, please do some research before making statements....

Marstar received a 40ft of rifles (M14s) in Mid Dec. A 20ft of assorted handguns 3rd week of Dec....

Three seperate aircraft containers of handguns last week of Dec....

January saw us take in multiple shipments of firearms....

In addition we took in 14 container loads of ammo from the last week of Nov until the 1st week of January....

You have adequate staff, who are trained at what they do and you get the job done.

WE NEVER use part time employees to process firearms. Besides the fact that our employees require security clearances, it simply is not a wise thing.

As for our daily sales volume, I would certainly challenge your estimate.

I would like to see the professionalism of MARSTAR combined with the pricing of CANAM. But I can understand that Canam is dealing with customs and the fact that they try preselling their stuff (I would do the same!).

CanAm has Marstar beat 5 ways to Sunday as far as professionalism is concerned. CanAm is having some issues as of late dealing with way more orders than he has ever dealt with by the looks of it. However, when CanAm makes an appearance, he is polite and tells us what he knows. I see nothing from CanAm that would demonstrate an unprofessional attitude.
