Hey fellow Nutters,

just wondering if anyone has come across this issue before.

I have installed a USGI synthetic stock on my Norc. and i would like to add a pistol grip. I know that new types of stocks come with pistol grip and adjustable butt end stock, and picatinny rails galore but i don't really care for that big heavy metal look. i like the sleek look of the regular synthetic stock, all i want to do is add a pistol grip........

Has anyone done this before and have it come out looking good rather than looking like you chopped a piece of hockey stick and taped it behind the trigger guard?

any info would be appreciated...

cheers and beers

you mean somethin like this M14SE2 stock? :D

Due to my non dealer status at the current time...... i can't discuss pricing in the open forums.
you will see me advertising here on CGN once i have the following essentials locked down.... remember, at this moment, I'm a one man show..... but good things are in the works.
I am working on the following
-more products to go alongside my stocks
-stock designs for other rifle models
-website, with photo gallery, product details ect
-larger shop with more equipment to ramp up production
- 2 employees to handle orders and delivery

so.... not long now :D

I couldn't tell you price, but I can say that over the last year I have handled a LOT of these. I have seen them at every stage of construction, I have handled them on at least a dozen different rifles, I saw the design phase and I remember the whole process of materials selection and testing.

I don't own one because school is eating up all my money and I can't spend much on hobbies for a while.

But they are really well built stocks. I would have a lot of confidence in them. If you buy one I think you will be very happy with the workmanship and I don't think the stock would ever let you down.

I treat these rifles as BATTLE RIFLES. They are SHTF guns to me, not target guns or range toys. I don't hesitate to beat on mine, because I want a gun that I could take to war if I had to.

I would not hesitate to put an Evil Genius stock on any of my guns. I think you'd be as likely to break the barrel as the stock.

That's my two cents.

Edit: Evil Genius being the 45ACP stock...not sure if that's a well-known name or not now that I think about it.

no, I haven't really thrown the name out there, E.G.D. , or Evil Genius Designs

actually was my son's idea, as he came into the shop one day during a weekend visit and while handling one of my projects, said...... dad..... that's really cool...... yer some kina evil genius or somethin aren't ya? LOL ...... and it just kinda stuck.

the name EGD may not stay...... but for now..... it works for me.

they are fiberglass and are currently utilizing the usgi fiberglass stock as a base so any m1a or m14 buttpad or buttplate will fit up as normal.
Not to say too much, and this is why the new year saw me holding off on dealer status..... but I have two styles of m14 stock going to mass production, one no one has seen yet :D and i do mean no one.... but me and my wife :D and the other will be the m14sa2. My E2 and CQb versions will remain , for now, as hands on customs from my shop, reworked using the usgi fiberglass stock as a starting point, just like the mcmillans, virons and the vltor stocks on the market from the u.s.

and i really should not comment much further on this other than to say, I appreciate the support i have been given here on CGN....... now, let's hear about how these EGD stocked rifles are shooting :D

Let me just say that I am waiting for one of 45's stocks, and while it takes time for a hand made item to arrive (I am dying to test'er out), I am really excited to be getting a Canadian made, quality stock. I am all for buying home grown when it is available, not to mention somthing from a fellow Nutter who has aided many of us with his advice and expertise.

I hope that comment was worth the $100 discount....???? ;)

KIDDING!! ;) :D Seriously, hurry up, I wanna shoot!! :ar15: :D
