Anyone know where to find a SpeedFeed 1?

I checked all my local stores and browsed a few of our sponsors with no luck. Where can I find one of these for a 12g 870?

Try P&D. They usually have some. As long as you are looking for one for an 870 or a Mossberg. Anything else, maybe not... But give 'em a call, I'm sure they can help you.

I'd give away mine if I had something to replace it with, I like the Speedfeed forend but the Speedfeed 1 stock is just a gimmick as far as I'm concerned.

The shell tubes are fairly slow and just plain clumsy to withdraw shells from, especially with two rounds loaded. Also the second shell can get stuck inside on occasion, it's an easy fix but wiggling my fingers around inside the stock is not what I'd want to be doing in a threat situation!

Probably not as fast "under fire" as a shell holder on the action... but it's a pretty clean way to hold 4 shells on your gun without adding to the physical dimensions!

I am more interested in throwing in some 1 1\4 oz slugs to make my gun a bit heavier. Figured this would help along with a sidesaddle, with the bonus of 4 extra rounds right on the gun. I had a speedfeed minus the shell tube before, loved the way it handled over the Knoxx I switched it out for.
