Id be dealing with somebody else by now, Thanks a lot Curtton! I'm goona opt to shoot it if it won't diminish it's value any more. The stock though- have you come accross one like mine before with the correct factory mark, only one serial # but a wonky date?
These rifles at their peak price were $300 - $400 when you could not find a Rusky SKS. In my opinion, unless your intention is to try and collect as many different kinds of SKS as to have a collection from the different countries that produced them, there is not enough value in the rifle to just sit in the safe and not be used and enjoyed.May have to pick up a sight tool from trade ex.
