Well it ate my finger yesterday...snow makes it slippery btw. Today I fired off a family pack of slugs from CTC....now I'm sore....but happy

Heheheh did the same thing to me with my grandfathers outlaw.. used 12 pellet 00 buck and it slipped and ate my middle finger. guess ill have to keep it off the back trigger

According to the shooters the gun somehow "ate" their finger.
Not sure how it would work exactly but it sounds painful.

It slipped in my hand has my palms were wet from snow...I know, I know. The recoil bent my finger back. Nothing major, just a little blood and a sore finger.

Well at least you didn't plasma cut the tip of your finger off by the muzzle blast of the shotgun.

I really like the gun, not sure what I'll use it for as I don't have a stage coach...yet! The only complaint is that the forstock isn't completely tight...it wobbles a ever so slightly. Besides that you can't beat it for the price.

You wanted to know what to use to get a big fireball? Hope this helps!

I got a 6 1/2' ball of fire out of my 8.5" Dlask, using Winchester 3" magnum slugs. If that helps . . . it should do just as well as anything and they were cheap at WalMart. You're not worried about accuracy, I assume, just flash.

Do you mean the recoil when firing the back trigger made it hit the front? I've seen high grade doubles with articulated front triggers for exactly this reason.

No, my hand was wet and it slipped when I fired. The inside front the the trigger guard hit it. Not the guns fault, user error. Even my wife thought it was well made and looked good for what it cost.

Maybe a grip-wrap would help....whats that stuff called...pacskin or something? I use it on my bow too, or a pair of grippy shooters gloves.

I got a decent cut on my middle finger cause the front trigger is a little rough on the edges...Well really rough on the edges. The trigger cut me during recoil which was pretty substantial. Didnt see much of a fire ball though as it was a bright, sunny day.
