Double tap

there is no spoon. What you want are two aim'd shots with a very fast split, rather then a "double tap". Matt Burkett has a great timing/cadence drill to help build this skill set.

I thought it was: Dash! Down! Crawl. Observe. Sights. Fire!?
Or did Cretiens boys make it more PC?

Wasn't it Ho, Ha, Dodge, Perry, Thrust, Spin and then Fwaaap! :p

In seriousness to the original question. Started out with a 226 in 40. Put about 1500 rounds through the gun in combat style shooting. Bought a Browning Hi Power in 40. Only put about 200 rounds through it. I had better double taps with the Hi Power. Difference (in my mind) was the recoil spring. Hi Power's was stronger. Absorbs more recoil so the gun doesn't climb as high. Allowing the gun to return to the target quicker.

Just one Nutz opinion......

D, it is a HK shootem up flick.
Didn't know it existed until a couple students were asking to be taught the "double tap" on a BB course and the movie was on that night when I got home.

Lol...were they asking to be taught the Weaver too? Were they wearing bell bottoms and talking about the latest CCR or Doobie Brothers album?

they all had their holsters in the apendix/shoot yer nuts off position too!
Some needs to get the number of times doubletap is said in the flick, its got to be an insane amount.

Madness, could it be a possible drinking game?
PH, it was at United many years ago but after the Weaver guy course;).
