Importing Krinker Plinker yourself?

I'm interested in importing a Krinker Plinker kit myself. Has anyone done this before?

I would be physically bringing it across the border myself, from the US. So technically I would be exporting it as well.

Should I expect any problems doing such a thing?

I found the following on the CFC website:

You cannot import prohibited ammunition or firearm parts that are classified as prohibited devices, including handgun barrels that are 105 mm or less in length or parts made exclusively for a fully automatic firearm.

You do not need a valid firearms licence under Canadian law to import non-prohibited firearm parts (except for a frame/receiver). However, as indicated below, you may need an export permit from the other country.

As far as I know the Krinker Plinker kit does not contain a prohibited device, or parts made exclusively for automatics.

Does the US have export regulations requiring permits with regards to a kit such as the Krinker Plinker?

you are right here are no restrictions on the Canadian side but tons on the US side- it's become a lot harder lately. I would check with the manufacturer or Questar.

Doesn't the kit include a barrel as well? Cannot export those.
