M14 kit help

I know this is a stupid question and I'm sure to get some flak for it but, what are these things?

I know what's in the green pouch (cleaning rod) and the container on the far left has some type of oil Im guessing in it. But what are the other two things for and what kind of oil is in the container?

The brush is a chamber brush not a bore brush.

Good guess. The Multi tool can also be used to load magazines using the charger, you push down on the rounds in the stripper clip with the curved end of the tool. Keeps your thumb from getting torn on the edge of the stripper clips. It can also be used to pop the trigger group (insert floppy part into hole in back of trigger guard and gently pull up), it can also be used to disassemble bolt (press down on firing pin end to compress extractor spring then gently slide extractor out of bolt, releasing other components.). My guess is that there are also some other handy options that only the original designers know about.

Thanks for the info! I think that weird tool is also the "handle" for the cleaning rod as well....
