I am new to reloading and am interested in joining a reloading club or taking a reloading clinic if such things exist in the GTA. I have done some reloading after reading the various manuals and posts here but would appreciate actual mentors. Any leads or information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I too am interested.

The fellow who I took my gun license with mentioned something about a reloading seminar that he does.

Steven Brickenden.
Good guy. Although a bit intimidating because the guy used to be in the army or something. He's in the west end. A bit out of the way though.

How about any of Toronto/GTA target clubs or even an experienced single instructor? I assume that in politically correct TO there are NOT adult education classes in this topic but who knows? Maybe a community college general interest course? Thanks for any advice.

We are actually just starting to organize a Reloading clinic at EESA.

I think that a college course would be a great idea.........but doubt it would fly.

I've not heard of any clinics in the area, I had a fellow gunnutz show me reloading one evening, the rest from chatting and reading.....although the ORA is having a precision reloading clinic (not a basic course, but ideas on reloading for long range) at BRRC in the spring.

Your input needed

The Toronto Sportsmen`s Association had a reloading clinic about 6 years ago.
There is a anteroom at the range that could accommodate about 12-14 participants on a Sunday afternoon from noon to 4pm. A number of us have been reloading for years and could run a clinic if there is sufficient interest. Some of the boys cast bullets as well.
What are you gents looking for rifle, pistol, both ?
What skill, knowledge level ?
Hands on or just show and tell ?
Do you see this as one session or several ?

Please post your views so I can draft an outline agenda for consideration of the boys and the directors.

Just got the reloading equipment and done reading. Then more reading. Still reading.

I would feel more comfortable getting some hands on support. Mainly for rifle, but would be interested in pistol too.

Reloading Clinic

I am interested in metallic reloading (rifle/handgun) and would attend a single session or a multi evening course. While I have reloaded both, I would benefit from expert advice. I have been asking single questions on this forum as I encounter problems/unknowns and getting good info but an introductory course would be time/money well spent.

Yes, a hands on approach would be great. I would love some bolt action and semi auto rifle hands on as well as some pistol. Different powders, a handful of different calibers to show what to do, what not to do.

The coarse doesn't have to be anything different then the step by step instructions found in most reloading manuals, but to actually hand hold us through the physical set up and such would be a great thing.

GTA Clinic is on April 26 from 12pm-4pm

Your wishes are our command !:welcome:

We have tentatively scheduled a hands on reloading clinic for Sunday April 26 from noon to 4pm at the Royal York range in West Toronto.
It will cover both rifle and pistol.

Please PM me with your coordinates including email address to reserve a spot.

Excellent course. It was well worth it. A big thanks to Roman, Michael, Victor and Henry for volunteering their time and enlightening us.

Agreed! Learnt alot! Wouldn't mind attending the advance course, with some more hands on...

Excellent Class! Hope you have more in the future.

My friends and I are definitely interested in this; to equally fund a reloading setup.

It would definitely be appreciated....

Thread Revival!!!

Anybody know of any reloading clinics anywhere in sw Ontario?

Any help would be appreciated.

Or anyone in SW Ontario that is proficient at reloading and wants to earn some $$$ or beer, or both.....I am open to having a "tutor" come to my place.

Thanks!
