Sks arrives

Well I have to say today was a great day. My handpicked frontier sks showed up at the door, and what a beaut it is! Thanks Marlin! Turns out to be a 54 Tula refurb with all matching numbers including the laminate stock and extractor with a bright shiney bore. I was happy to see the lam.stock serial numbers match the rifle with no previous numbers on it, or anywhere else that have been Xed out. All original and doesn't look fired! There is a God. I completely agree. I plan on shooting the hell out of my hand select. I've been reading some threads where people are just gonna keep them as safe queens. What a waste.

How is the mag pinned. I ordered one from Frontier today. Is is the Bell butcher job? Or is it pinned at the follower arm?

Butcher job..... must have been put in place by a program to hire the mentally retarded. The tack doesn't really show on the outside. It looks like you can pop a washer off if you can't get five in. I haven't loaded it yet, but I'll be shootin' it, that's for sure!
