I was just at Island Outfitters and saw them unpacking a crateful..
I have seen literally thousands of these things and the ones they were unloading today have some of the best wood and hardware I have seen...
Not my cuppa T.... but remarkably good wood and overall condition..:ar15:

As he said they are real nice. As for the price since no one else has come up with them and you want one...some are already sold. The first 15 they got were ok and were $249 and sold in three days, these ones they got ten and who knows hom many will be left.

Island outfitters is way over priced. I was in there a few months back and they were selling Norc M14 for $675.00. I told them I can get them somewhere else for $200 cheaper and if they would be willing to match the price I would buy local and suppor them and they said no. Well I walked out and spent my $$$ else where. A week later the arked them down $200.00.

Do they still have m14's?

Last time I was in there they has a Norinco M14 for 600 or so dollars. They have always been overpriced. A crate of 7.62X39 is selling for $300. I gave up on them and will always shop online now.....well... untill WSS opens up in Naniamo

Funny then how do you know it is $300. Once WSS does open we will see these same people complain about them too. Just do a search on WSS and you will see what I mean. The grass is always greener on the otherside.

They were $625 and went down to $399.99 on boxing day and stayed that way till sold out. I totally understand people looking for the best price possible, but when someone has a business they do it to make money. Bottom line shop around find the best price buy it. If shops matched every price people came in with why even bother trying to make a living.

I know the ammo is $300 because is asked. Every time I ask for a quote on a rifle they are always 100-300 dollars more expensive. I can understand making a buck, but what they ask is rediculous.

The grass is greener on the WSS side because they ask a decent price for their goods.

The ammo is $250,$225 when you buy your SKS which includes four stripper clips,2 ammo pouches, oil container, cleaning tube, and a canvas sling.

Like I said wait till WSS is here, then we will see how you like their customer service, not to mention no stock and long wait in line. If something goes wrong with your gun...good luck. Also have you looked at WSS prices lately they have gone up, and if you think smaller shops can compete with box store buying power and stick around you are mistaken.

Victoria mark-up

Typical Victoria markup on stuff sold here.

X2!
A fellow shooter at VFG approached one of the local Victoria shops with a firm cash order for 50,000 pistol primers and asked for a discount. The answer? No deal, our price is the price!
In Victoria, we shop the web.
CGN, with the EE and the various sponsors have saved us a lot of money. Thanks CGN!
