I know for a fact at least one poodlegun loving AR15.org member from Canada went to the Shot show and saw this, so where is the info on it? Does no one have any info on these yet? If/when they will show up in Canada?
Likely the most exciting thing at the whole shot show and its as though everyone is asleep :bangHead:

I don't think it looks to well designed, especially the mag catch area. It doesn't look like a piston upper, so I wonder how the buffer/spring work. The really sad thing is that if/when it shows up here, it will be classed as restricted :(

Ok, talked to ARES today and this thing is legit. I think they might be gearing it up as a post ban rifle and not so much a PRK rifle.

Basically it was designed to work with any upper. The bolt carrier is proprietary, but will work with a standard bolt. They are designing it to not necessarily be a pistol, but a gas system rifle.

No idea on price but they think six months to a year. I think they said they were working with the patent office on it and I mentioned there was a Blackstar outfit that was working on something similar and that might be the issue.

quick google.

don't get too excited, Dlask made the Pump gun and the CFC said, "if it takes and AR upper, it is restricted"

After looking at that again, where does the bolt go when it moves to the rear? I don't see how it could work with that stock.

looks like it was made to california specs

what a ridiculous idea when you think about it.

What difference have any of the California changes made to the lethality of the firearm?

To think that there are people out there who really think that changing a stock and flash hider or whatever, is going to somehow make the general public safer from maniacs and criminals is depressing.

besides all that, I agree, one in .308 might be ok :D

Yeah, um, where the heck does the bolt carrier go during firing?? Some sort of cut down special carrier?

Or more likely from looking at it, there would have to be some sort of proprietary upper because there is no place for an action spring in that design, so the upper would have to contain it all. More information required.

Herring = Red Herring.

I thought Beretta's (Benelli R1) gun was better looking:

What happened with it anyway? Would have been easy to make a 223 and 308 with it. The stock is the same as the Benelli M4, which is quite nice...
