Do the Dominion Arms short barrel doubles shoot to POA?

Are you not being a bit harsh. I mean you have to judge it for what it is: a cheap, fast handling, compact shotgun for close quarter use. It can be used as a camp gun or for pretending to be John Wayne. That is all, I mean it would'nt be faire to compare a 7$ bottle of table wine to a Chateau Latour if you get my drift. As long as you know what you are buying and that it fits your needs why not and no, I don't own one.

John Wayne wouldn't be caught dead with a Chinese sxs. He used W.W. Greener sxs's

Not harsh. I am relating the facts as I see them having shot the Chinese sxs and taken one apart.

Your wine analogy is facile. The worst outcome of a bottle of cheap wine is a headache. But if a camp gun lets you down in a critical moment the consequences are far more serious.

You could always throw the forearm at your attacker.:)

What is the best forend for bear defense? Would it be the heavy beavertail forend that you could use as an impact weapon or would a sharp splinter forend be preferable because you could poke the bear in the eye. ;)

Now the idea of a CGN forearm fix is a good one. After all forend latching mechanisms on hinge shotguns have only been around for about 150 years but no doubt the assorted Bubbas 'round here could whip up something to outdo even Anson and Deeley. Might even get a patent. No money in it however because the Chinese would happily infringe it.

Once the forend has fallen to the ground, the barrel should be quite easy to get off (if it hasn't fallen to the ground too). It could easily be used as a club. Too bad it is only 12" long. You get more range with a longer barrel club.

Yikes! Other than being a "fun-looking" little gun, you'd be better off with a spear or an axe for self defense.:p:D

The only shots that I have seen on this thread that have gone in the right direction is the utube of the old fellow with the sling shot:D

It will only be a matter of time before someone starts importing chinese sling shots into this country. You have to experience a blown up in your face sling shot to understand my concern.
