Not the best pics, cam isn't that great... but I'm happy! No range reports yet.

Savage 10FCP HS Precision Stock
4.5-18x56 Menace

Thats a pretty SWEET rig you got there..... can i have it :p

Is that the additional +5 round magazine from Sharp Shooter Supply i see? If so, is it a hassle to get them?

I bought the DIY mag kit from them. No hassle as it is 'machined parts'.

I only wanted it for an extra round, I've no real need for 9 rounds, just wanted 5, not 4 :)

HOLY CRAP. that's the exact same stuff i order yesturday!!the rifle and the scope!! LOOKING GOOD, so i guess i've made the right choice! what mounting system are you running and where did you get them from.

Burris XTR mediums on an EGW 20MOA base. I like to place objects you can relate to, next to what I'm taking a snap of... just lets you realize how little or big that particular object is.

I'm more of a Coke man myself :)

Install wasn't hard really... I shoulda bought a full mag for another 20 USD... and I might before Obama gets uber anal on what goes in and out... (As if they already aren't).

I don't remember how much the kit cost to my door... It's 54.80 + 10-15ish USD to ship. I shoulda got a barrel wrench, some blocks and a stainless follower to replace the plastic one... I could spend another 200 bucks from SSS for an extra mag and the accessories yet again. Hoping to get a range report this Friday. It'll be with 180gr only at 100m though... :(

No time yet to work up a load...

That's awful, ugliest thing I've ever seen. But seeing as I am such a wonderful person I'll take it off your hands. PM me for my address..... lol That's awesome. I am jealous now... Sigh.

How much did the kit run you delivered to the door?

I don't have an honest price... The gun was NIB from EE for 900 shipped, the bipod ran me 70 bucks, the mag kit was about 80 bucks Canadian, Base was 50ish bucks, rings were about 50something USD so I'd say 65 shipped Canadian, scope was 400-450ish.

I'd say 1500-1700. The 10FCP new though is around 1050-1100 now though I think. I just lucked into a BNIB in the EE for 900 shipped

I have one in the McMillan and am very interested in one kit for my original mag as well as another complete one. I will more than likely get a barrel wrench as well.
I don't know how much advantage I would get by buying a heavy duty lug, anyone have any experience with one to tell me what the advantage is.

Finally got it all together, eh. Nice package all together I'd say.

Its cool to see someone with the SSS mag kit. Did it require much inletting?

Post some range pics when you get out.

As long as your current rifle has a centre-feed mag, you're good. Some of the earlier 10FP with mcmillian or hs precision have mags that can't adapt, apparently.

I didn't do a thing, just took out the 4 round mag, removed the upper portion, inserted it into the new mag (after joining the springs with the little heat sleeve) and it was good to go.

Cool beans. Is the mag plastic or metal? Sorry, not overly familiar with the set up. Is it a Savage brand thing or does another company produce it?
