Off topic but where could one buy antique ammo / components/reloading gear in Canada (if possible? )

it's kinda caliber dependent as places like Elwood Epps carry brass etc. for some obsolete calibers like 32-40,so it kinda depends on what you're lookin for.

Many of the obsolete cartridges can be formed from currently available ones. 32-40 is an excellent example and can easily be formed from any of the 30-30 family of shells. The larger and particularly longer cartridges need basic brass mostly available in the states

it may be worth noting that unprimed brass isn't usually a problem to import...for now.

Buffalo Arms is very good about sending up brass in antique chamberings. Forget exactly what they mark it but the words that they use are accurate and in no way scream "scary gun stuff". I've never had a problem orderiung there and they have a huge selection.
