I gave up waiting and bought a VZ-58 over the EE. The thing is, we don't even know what the price of these guns will be other than that it'll be higher than before. Also, I wanted to know if the new ones are significantly better than the old ones. Apparently these are blued, as opposed to the old ones being painted. Is there any other major improvement?

I've been waiting eagerly for three months but my questions hadn't been answered so finally when a brand new VZ-58 showed up in the EE I bought it.

Yea a good park job does look nice but the factory coating is very durable.

Any idea what type of paint they use? A black paint of the same quality would be ideal.

From what I understand its very similar to a high temp industrial engine enamel.
