Maybe John has taken some holidays......some time off from the wine and cheese group that posts on this thread? When there here........there here.

Yes, John used VZ-59s to rake the pirate boats. But he kept one alive to tell the others his simple message:

"In Mogadishu you are the law, out here it's me. Don't push it, don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go, let it go......."

PALINAK;
"well they are called "FSN-01" not CZ858 or CZH2003 and the receiver internal blocking is different from both "

PLEASE try and get your facts straight, Yes the new series is called FSN-01, four new models....We adopted new model numbers for all of the new models to avoid confusion with the previous editions....

The CZ-858 was NEVER imported by Marstar.

The receiver remanufacturing is completely different in all respects from all previous models....

"I think you're right it's pointless. Marstar doesnt need customers, customers need Marstar. So he can afford to ignore us "

What complete and utter BS, Marstar has always put customers first, I would put our reputation up against any dealer in Canada.

Thanks again for your support
John

K2;
You are closer to the truth than you think....
In fact the shipment arrived First week of December, Customs took just under three weeks to clear the shipment.... They had "issues"

Once released the trucking company was instructed to deliver them to our warehouse just a few hours away, that was on a Friday....

Monday still no shipment, nobody can find it.... Trucking company can't locate it....

Tuesday, still no shipment, late the same day the trucking company informs us that their truck has been seized by the RCMP....
Why you ask ? Well it would seem that the trucking company made an error and sent our shipment off to Quebec City (500 miles east of here) . An employee finds a container of "machine guns" and calls the local authorities, they, in turn, call the RCMP....

At this point all the people who subscribe to conspiracies have a field day.... They hold on to the shipment....

They get several other agencies involved, the matter was at last cleared up last Thursday with the much appreciated help of our Provincial Weapons Enforcement peopl....

We now have the shipment in our warehouse, the new items should be on our site in a day or two.

OMG, UK59... :runaway:OMG, OMG, OMG!!! :dancingbanana:"How" to explain to my wife... HOW??? :nest:

Is there a "price" listed now??? I need a price to "start" negotiations...

That, OR, I need to win the lottery!

Cheers

:eek:wow as much as I hated waiting all this time you have to admit that is one hell of a trip that shipment went through. Great story :) Thanks for the update Johnone.

I’m glad that these rifles finally made it here and I’m sure there will be a lot of happy customers.…as these are well built models and great shooters.

I know sometimes my typing is not as detailed as my thinking but where did I mention that Marstar had anything to do with the CZ-858s? All I said and you reaffirmed it
The receiver remanufacturing is completely different in all respects from all previous models....
the receiver internal blocking is different from both “meaning both the CZ 858 and the CZH2003” the only previous models in Canada.
BTW the reason I said that in the first place was my thought on the delay with respect to this being a new rifle in Canada and as I read there were other issues.

Now to get MY facts straight, just so I understand, you are saying that you adopted the FSN-01 name as opposed to not adopting the CZH2003 name and calling it a VZ58s? I’m a bit confused. Or are you saying that you designated these as FSN-01 so that everyone can differentiate them from the CZH2003 (aka vz58)

thanks
Paul
