I took this thing out today more for a function test than accuracy since I forgot my glasses.:D
From ten yards I hit this target every time almost without the use of the sights. It worked 100% with ball ammo but I didn't have any HP's to try out.
Even the aftermarket Mec-Gar worked flawlessly and dropped free perfectly.
Pretty snappy recoil and there's some power there I didn't expect from a little .380acp.
I don't care for stainless guns and I am still looking for a blued German version but this thing is starting to grow on me!

And my Colt 1911 9mm with the Fusion barrel functioned 100% even with Winchester Silvertip HP's, which was a pleasant suprise.

Back then, nothing was fat about me. Now.........:(

Maybe holding the grip too high?

Change the grips:

Since changing grips, I have not had any slide bite. Hogue cocobolo wood grips make a big difference. However, on a SS PPK (pimp gun) it does not make it look less pimpish. And before you comment on my protrusive barrel, it is a PPK with an erection. :p

I am an addict.
I have a 1939 PPK over at Epps getting rebarreled and reblued.

I am also in the market for any/all PP's or PPK's in .380
I want to collect, fondle, and shoot them all. If you have any for sale, please consider ME before selling them to prproulx.

prproulx is not a true PPK lover, his interest is only a passing thing. Next week he will be into Moison Nagants or Thompson machine guns. I pledge to give your PPK a good "loving" home where it will NOT be traded or sold to strangers who may abuse it.

I picked mine up on EE last year for $500 with 3 mags. Probably the best deal I have made so far. Made in 1976 in France.

Saw a review of these in SHotgun News. There are a couple of minor changes to sights and rounder edges, especially at the back of the slide. Unfortunately, unless thay make a non-restricted length PP style, none for us.
