The "I want a Taurus Judge" Thread

Did you watch the video Clobbersauras posted on the previous page? The shot pattern shown about two-thirds of the way in sure looks impressive.
 
But it's birdshot, 12g loaded with birdshot is not considered and adequate stopper by anyone credible. So why would this little .410 with it's stubby little barrel be effective?
 
Adequate stopper by what definition? Perhaps not a killing round, but a facefull would change the priorites of a carjacker from stolen car and crack cocaine to morphine, plastic surgery, and a seeing eye dog.
 
Novelty or not, isnt owning a handgun in canada all about novety for anything other than 40, 9 or 45 for competition lol

how is a 410 a novelty but nt the 44 mag or even the 460..500..etc etc :D:D

Its not about the need, but about the want baby! :D:D and daddy waNTS a JUDGE bad!

Price will be much higher than the states but no dealers have commented on this thread so we'll have to guess.The stainless 6 inch has an MSRP of $569. Dealers in the US usually sell lower than that. So I'm saying $650 - $750 for us lowly Canucks...but who knows?

I'm hesitant to mention any price, because even though I'm pursuing these guns, it will be some time before it is even an option. I've been waiting several months for supply, and I suspect it will be several more months before they are available. Of course, as soon as possible I will bring them in at a fair price.
