Stoeger Shotguns

Anybody have any opinions or experiences?? Good bad ugly??

I have one of their P350 pump shotguns, and although I've heard others complain about it, I've had nothing but good experiences with it. Maybe I lucked out, but I haven't had a single problem with it after 2 years or frequent use, both at the range and hunting.

Bought a Stoeger model 2000 a couple of years back. This gun has been absolutely great. It is now the only shotgun I use for hunting or trap shooting.
My only complaint is that the choke tubes supplied are pretty low end. I simply replaced with a Beretta Choke

I have a condor O/U, don't use much anymore but it works great.

I have a uplander, its a great gun, regulated properly, light, and swings easy.

Uplander for me aswell, have an expensive auto, cheap pump, expensive o/u, then finally decided might aswell pick up a cheap sxs. Great gun so far, mainly use it for shooting europian starlings on the farm. So far no complaints.

I had a 2000. Poor wood to metal fit, it was packed dry and was rusty when it arrived. It broke on a hunting trip and I ended up fixing it and selling. I like the inertia action, but until Stoeger sorts itself out I won't buy another.

I have a SXS. Bluing is weak, wood is fine and wood to metal finish is fine to. It is a utility grade gun that functions very well. The barrels are also fairly sturdy as i ACCIDENTALLY loaded 3.5" magnum buckshot shells into a 3" chambered gun and shot the hell out of it. The barrels never bulged, the gun is in excellent shape. A workhorse of sorts, but I will get it parkerized some time in the future.

I have a 20 gauge Condor O/U and I like it a lot. I use it mainly for upland with the occasional round of trap thrown in. Sure it's cheap, but it works and I like the way it looks and feels.

The Beretta chokes are a straight swap for Stoeger. Look for the Beretta Victory line of chokes

I just bought a Stoeger 2000. Will the Benelli extensions fit it?

I've had two of their coachguns, sold them on a wierd whim, and miss them. Great guns for the money.

I should have rephrased my question, does anyone know if beretta chokes fit the uplander? on WWS website, they list 2000 chokes and uplander and "single barrel" chokes.

I bought an M2000 this winter, thus far it seems as if Stoeger has 'sorted itself out'.

Is your front bead orange / red color or white?

The M2000 has most problem prior to 07 and the newer one has orange front bead.

Some user experience fail to eject when fire directly overhead have you notice that?

Ya, i've shot their side by side in 12 ga. Sweet shooter but no ejectors, picking the shells out was a little tiring. And it sets the safety every time you #### it.

My dad bought the Camo 2000 and I thought it was great. Alot less felt recoil than my 870. If I wouldn't be getting all his guns one day I would buy one.
