Cz-858

Do a search in the red rifles, There are alot of write ups. I had one, and loved it, plan on getting another soon.
 
I once went shooting with a bunch of friends, about 10 of us all standing around having a good time blasting away. My friend took 15 shots at a small target with his scoped mauser rifle. He missed everytime because the target was no bigger than a quarter. After his 15th shot he got pissed off and barked "Tom, hit that damn target!"

From a standing position with my trusty 858, I squeezed off one single round and hit the damn little quarter sized target at about 125 meters away.

Yeah, I think these rifles are pretty good. :D
 
I have one of these non-restriced tactical #2 ones and it is in great condition. I will be changing the buttstock to an ar15a2 buttstock for length. The barrel is to long for going the folding etc route.
 
Once, I scored a V-bull from 500 meters with mine. :D
To be fair though; out of 10 shots on that particular match, I think that V was the only scoring round. ;)

However from 200 meters it'll hit an 18" target all day long.

I've been shooting mine for more than 2 years now and I've had zero stoppages. I had the gremlin, but fixed it with the brass from a 9mm casing for free.

It's a great rifle. Buy it.
 
A restricted or non restricted one is on my to buy list. The list never seems to shrink, no matter how many firearms I buy.
 
I've had mine for over 3 years, it is a great gun, no problems with mine, no gremlin, one of the most fun guns I have ever purchased, I've got several CZ firearms and none of them disapoint, the fit and finish are great, I love the look of the beaver puke stock and would never change it.

Sighhhhhh. Your memory seems to get better with time;)

In fairness, yes you killed it. In fairness too, I hit it a good amount before that.

Still haven't gotten the scope on that bast@rd sighted in.

P.S. - CZ's are great - lots of fun, quite durable, overall good guns. Not incredibly accurate, but that's part and parcel with using corrosive surplus ammo. At 1/2 the price of the next cheapest black rifle, and on average 3-4 times cheaper, it's a good gun to get.
 
I have a CZ858 that is dressed up with everything that I could find. Shoots better than I can. Fantastic rifle. Wish I could afford another one.
 
How do these compare to the VZ-58? Is it basically the barrel length and chrome lining that are different?
