That's awesome dude!. I would love such a nice piece. As for your choice of scope, the NF scopes are great and I would be in a rush to shoot that too, but I really think you should save for the S&B ...why start cutting corners now. Congrats on the PGW...

That think looks great your right about the S@B real nice glass wish I had one. would like to see some posts on how that baby shoots when you get it going enjoy the new toy

Hmm ... I know how exciting it is to have something that's built a whole lot better than it needs to be ... but with that scope ... Jayzuss. My great little car cost $5900 three years ago.

Bee-U-T-fal

The twisted fluting really isn't my thing, but that gun is a work of art.

Now that I've seen that paint color on the metal I think I will copy that, seeing I have the same stock and bottom metal.

Very Nice!

Not big on the sand on the metal, personally love the OD Green on the Timberwolf. The stock colour is nice though, subtle difference from 3 colour desert.

Tell me about the crazy money for S&B scopes - the one on my M40A3 is almost half the value of the rifle. But when you have to be authenthic, you have no other choice.

Congratulations on a very stunning rifle.

Cheers, Carl

Nice rifle. If I were you I would stick with a NF for your scope choice. I have looked through a S&B and although the glass itself is phenominal, the reticle in them (or at least the one I got to try) looks like it was drawn on with a sharpie. They are very thick and it makes for a very busy view.

Just my opinion, but like a$$holes....everybody has one. :D

Ya, stick with the NF. What are we coming to when we call scoping with a NF 'cutting corners'? :p I'd go for the 50 over the 56 though. I doubt you'll perceive much clarity difference, and it'll sit that much closer to the bore.

Maybe because he wanted it or to reduce the recoil? Why else would he get a brake

No #### sherlock, loosen your shorts a bit, less pressure on the brain. This was not a sarcastic comment but a legitimate question. Want? sure. Recoil? maybe. You just don't see alot of brakes on a 308. It's not a significant recoil as opposed to a 338 or a 50 etc but your paying for it so fill your boots. Get one on your 17 hmr if you want.

You were 'wondering why a brake on a .308', if you knew then why bother asking such a stupid question?. It's pretty simple to see he spent a some good money on this nice setup so he got whatever he wanted. Brake or no brake, he got it for whatever reason he wanted it and it really doesn't matter.

And muzzle brakes aren't 'popular' but go on snipershide/snipercentral and look around this forum and you'll see a bunch using them on .308's and up.

No need to throw a child's fit just because you asked a stupid question that basically has a 'common sense' response and don't like the reply to it. :jerkit:
