rimfire .22 scope and mini14

I wouldn't, it's a hard hitting semi that is known for launching brass. Would make pretty short work of that scope I would think.

X2...and the parallax is set for .22 ranges, usually 50 yds. So unless thats the distance you take most of yours shots at the parallax error would be too great. Phil.

well it might not be the best scope, but I had that same scope mounted on my lee enfield for the start of hunting season while i waited for a package from canada post that was about the size of a bushnell3200. it survived over 200 shots before i took it off for the better one

mount it up!!! why not, worse case scenario is that it breaks after a while, it is just a 50$ scope.

during that time you may start to appreciate the features of a more expensive scope, so when the time comes, you 'll know what U want

My best results with optics on a mini-14 have been low-med power variables. My favourite scope for this application has been the Leupold Rifleman 2-7 X 33 under $300. I assume you don't have the target model so the expected accuracy of your gun is average at best. The Mini-14 is a well made reliable gun that works well from off hand positions and thats why I like lower powered variable optics that will work well on moving game but can still take a coyote at 150 yds from a rested position. Phil.
