Hey, this isn't far from my place and I've never been to an IDPA match before. Are spectators welcome at these events? Any advice to a newbie on things to bring to maximize enjoyment-- other than hearing protection?

Eye and ear protection. Sunscreen for sure if the weather is sunny. Food and Drink is on site. If you come down make sure you drop by and say hello. I'll be SOing on one of the stages.

Why drive all that way to be a spectator. Take the plunge and be a shooter!
