I am a new shooter that will be in need ammo. I plan to spend alot of time shooting. Which is a well priced ammo that is good for a beginer.

If you are going to spend alot of time shooting you should start to learn to reload it will be cheaper in the long run.

Checkout Wolf Bullets or Canadian BDX ammo manufaccturers. You can get 1000 rounds of 180gr .40 SW's for about $220, plus shipping. That is way better than buying factory from anyone.

i never did get around to trying wolf's factory ammo but since i started relaoding (wayyyyyy better in the long run (even short run cause its fun:dancingbanana:) i will be sure to try some of wolfs cast lead projectiles....

so yes i would say the best prices are what wolf has to offer and then wolverine as posted above....

when i was shooting 9mm factory i bought 2 packs of remington UMC FMJ ammo for $65 for 250 rnds i believe .40 S&W was around $80 per 250 but this was about 6 months ago and it seems 9mm is around $80 now and it doesnt matter anyway cause you can't find the bulk packs anywhere anyhow:mad:

WIN BEB is the more expensive crap...FED AE / REM UMC / WIN USA / BELL are the cheap stuff.

Um... not at Wolverine... the CCI is slightly cheaper (by $20.00) but it's crap (imnsho)... if you're getting a better deal on Federal and UMC than the Winchester at Wolverine, quit being so damn stingy and give up your source...
