Im not 100% sure this is in the right topic but here it is. I am planning on building up my first rifle (18th birthday coming up in a few days) and some one tells me due to some new US gun policies, I wont be able to order a scope from the Leupold custom shop seeing as it in the US. Is this true, and if so, where can I get what I want from the custom shop?

I just tried to order one and your right no longer will the custom shop ship up to canada. So I tried to order one through the canadian distributor and no can do. but they are getting there own engraver and said they should be up and running by the end of the month so you can try them out and see if they can make you what you want. Hope this helps.

The engraver will be later than this month now. It is at Leupold in the U.S as of last week and they are loacing sopft wear etc. I will be down there next month for 2 weeks and then it will be shipped to us, so maybe by the end of next month????
