CR Speed mag pouches with CZ mags?

Feel free to call me an idiot, but how do I setup my new CR Speed mag pouches to work with CZ mags? They all came with the smallest spacer installed and I tried them with the CZ spacer but no go so far. The spacers are shaped like an "L". Should the bottom part of the "L" be toward the bottom of the pouch or the top?

It seems to be too tight with the bottom of the "L" shape to the top and too loose with the bottom of the "L" shape to the bottom.

if I remember correctly the L goes to the back of the magpouch.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

This is the closest I can get to making it work and even with it this way I can barely squeeze a mag in and the tension adjuster isn't even on yet.

I changed my CR's from Glock to CZ last night. Just insert the L adaptor and thread the black hex screw and thumb screw in the holes. Remember to insert the adaptor in the correct side...LOL.

Is the way I have it in the picture the correct side?

The L piece has a hole in the center of it where the hex screw passes through, and then has a small hole on the L lip.
The small hole on that lip aligns with the tension screw hole.

Put that lip in the small relief cut on the side of the pouch.
In the picture you have attached, rotate the L 90 degrees to the right, or away from you as you look at that picture.
You will have to remove the tension screw in order to get the holes lined up and then feed that screw back in.

You just made me feel better! It took me only a half hour of fiddling to figure it out all by myself. I installed them wrong three times! I am glad I am not the only four thumbed mechanical genius around. It served me right, I usually don't bother to read the instructions. In this case I did and it still didn't help!

that's what I was trying to say. the L part of the tab goes back through where the tensioner screw is. took me the better part of a day to figure that out.

Now I really feel better! I beat Rob by at least two hours in figuring it out and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn. Rob knows how inept I am when it comes to mechanical devices.

Maurice you are now officially my mechanical minded hero. Please don't tell me you have taken a CZ Shadow ejector box off and replaced the ambi safeties cuzz if you can do that and aren't working on determining the origin of the Universe you are in the wrong line of work. Just figuring out the CR belt gets you a leg up for menzies.

LOL,..I learn the hard way. I don't know of anyone that can take a USP apart completely and put it back together blindfolded,.

The only thing I did differently in today's match versus the one a month ago (other than a month of practice) was use CR Speed mag pouches instead of Blade-techs. Last month I came in third and today I came in first. ...Must be the mag pouches.
