my new M6 scout case and sling

the case has a good size pocket on the one side and a strap on the other . it is very well padded and could use it as a pillow. the quallity in the zipper and fabric are just amazing. for $20 it is a steal. I would of payed $60:D. the sling is a quick release uncle mikes and I also ordered 2 extra take down pins. I can put the ammo in the gun storage stock as well as lots of extra in the pocket on the case. that is also where I keep my extra pins. here are some pics

also this question is for Wrong Way.
what kinda rope did you wrap around the barrel on yours and is there any concern of it melting to the barrel if you put lots of rounds threw the 410 barrel with it heating up? I was going to use para cord but the guy that was selling it to me said because it is nylon it wouls melt. who knows???
 
A: It's 550 paracord
B: It will melt
C: If the guy who was going to sell it to you said that the barrel would get even close to hot enough to melt it, he should be fired for walking a sale first...then kicked in the nuts for being stupid second.

You will NEVER get that barrel hot enough to melt cord, short of taking a torch to it first :)

gun shows from time to time. I just lucked out at the last woodstock show. also I just missed one in a gun store in lemington. he had a brand new one from old inventory that he sold a month ago for $350:eek: I paid less at the gun show but mine was used. I did talk to one gun store that told me "ya right" when he heard what I was looking for. he claimed he knows 3 guys that willl give him $1000 or more for them. :runaway: pretty crazy Eh. a gun is worth what someone is willing to pay I guess.
keep your eyes open. I want one in stainless or in 22 hornet now.
 
What you need is one of Wrongway's survival slings! I also have a Millet red dot with see thru mounts that is deadly on pesky sqirrels. I also nailed a coyote with the 22lr at about 40yds -head shot! That case is just great and alot better than the blue plastic ones. I don't know if I will ever sell mine BUT I'll let CGN'rs have first kick! JITC
 
I traded my last one for a nice old winchester. had no isea how much i would miss it. so I then phoned every gun store in ontario and found none. then a couple weeks later at the gun show I lucked out. It is such a practical gun. and I don't think you could break one. so simple
 
I recently got the same case.
Did you notice it will fit folded without taking the gun apart?

I got mine from Springfield armories online store, along with an extra pin.
I'm hesitant to wrap the barrel on mine as moisture might get trapped in there. The parkerized versions have a well deserved reputation of being rust magnets.

I only wrapped half my blued barrel so I can slide it up to clean and oil it still. I also did a different wrap on the stainless one so it can breath a bit and there is about 40-45feet of para cord on it.
