blown up a glock 22 40 s&w

Been shooting the same Glock 22 since early 1995. Easily got > 30,000 rounds thru it now. Including lots of reloads with evil lead bullets, fresh factory ball ammo and the hi-test hollowpoints like Federal Hydrashoks, Winchester talons and Speer gold-dots. Guess I should imminently expect a ka-boom, then....

Never said they all blow up . If they did there would be a safety recall :runaway:

i dont think anyone said cast bullets are evil
(i shoot about 15000 of them a year through various fire arms)just that glocks rifling (or any polygonal rifling) does not lend itself well to this kind of ammo.sorry for any confusion.

No there would not! Remember, those people seem to live in the land of OZ, where they have the balls to call the Tupperware Queen "Perfection". No sir, they would just come up with a modification to the design and then just call it a "Product Upgrade", like they've always done in the past. :p

No Ken Hackthorn stories unfortunately, but I found a picture that you might enjoy :p:

He has not told us if he was or was not injured, of anyone close to him, & what off the shelf ammo he used or if it was of reloads. Just let it ride till he gives us a few answers. Right now he has had the guts to admit the semi-auto Glock failed him. The above answers would help & till they come we should let this one ride.

my friend was shooting and got a small cut above the eye and hand was numb for a bit all good know and no it wasent lead reloads i belive it was umc 180s

As we all know, ANY firearm design is capable of failure. Let's not go blaming the tupperware right off the bat.

That said, in my 23 years of shooting, the ONLY firearm I have ever personally witnessed go KB was a Glock 17, with factory ammo....

Well, I don't know about Ken Hackathorn, but you just have to visit Dean Speir's Gun Zone, to see what the Tupperware Perfection and it's irrational Cult like following are all about. ;)
