I can't find much info on this rifle and haven't found an example to look at locally (Calgary). Any info/experiences on the rifle welcome, as well as a dealer that would stock one for me to look at live.

Thanks,
Mark

If you want to see one, got to your next local Gun show, there a usually 10 or 20 there. My local gun store (Regina SK) usually stocks them, they are all out now but guys are starting to gear up for Gophers. Wholesale Sports usually has them in stock.

*MK11* I absolutly LOVE mine, 1 hole 5 shot groups at 50yrds and 1" to 1 1/4" at 75yrds, and under 2" at 100yrds, (with the right ammo). I usually shoot American Eagle 38gr. and its still really good, better than I am thats for sure.

I got the MK11 because of the .17, its a blast to shoot!. I usually set up plastic poker chips @ 75yrds and both of mine usually take out 5 for 5, but then a poker chip is almost 1 1/2" in diamater.

I don't know if this helps or not.. good luck in your searches for a MK11

Thanks, it does help to get some feedback. WSS and Russel's list some of the Mark II models, but not the BTV. I want to see how the thumbhole stock and action feel, along with the acu-trigger. I have never tried one first hand and want to see what it's all about. They are a great value in rimfire, that's certain.

The only MK11 I've ever seen with a thumbhole stock was a MAKO, it looked cool but didn't feel right.

The 93R (.17HMR) was a sight to behold, only one color to choose from, I told the guys @ the store to call me if they ever come out with one in Grey laminate. You can buy a base model and add all the bells & wistles on after you know, There is a web site out there that is all about the Savage/Stevens rifles. its called "sharpshootersupply".com
