This wild pig was caught in Western Australia , Roy Hill Station, Newman.(Pilbara) They only caught it because their dogs were going missing - it was eating their dogs!

They are using aspect perspective to make the hog seem bigger. That hog is about 4 feet in front of the guy. I use the same technique to make salmon look really big compared to my fat gut, by holding them in front of me at arms length.

At least this is a genuine wild pig. Hogzilla and some of the other big hogs seen on the 'net lately were pen fed pigs. Looks like this one learned to hunt (dogs) to get high protein fodder. This guy was probably eating rabbits and 'roos and other hogs.

No, I'd say 3-4' away.
Truck is a Landcruiser, about 6' 1" high, dude is at least as tall and is about a legs length away. 3 feet easy.
Still a big pig tho.

The guy is behind but you can use the roof line of the truck to determine where his head would be if he was right beside the pig. This is a very large boar! I understand that barrows or castrated hogs get bigger and are less likely to break off their tusks fighting. Apparently this is a game management technique used by hog hunting ranches in the southern US. I wonder does this guy have his knackers?
