I'm on the waiting list too. But unlike some of you guys I understand that the CFC and your local CFO can make things take an unrealistically long time, the last non-restricted transfer I did took almost 1 month before the CFC said OK, and that was just a rifle. Depending where you live, your restricted ATT status and just how lucky you are will dictate how long you wait. Sh*t we are paying $133 for a pistol, who cares if it takes 3 or 4 months. So how about a big round of applause for Can-Am for the deal and STFU to you #####es with no patience.:nest:

yes I have been waiting 3 months and yes I have been very patience. But what has got me going is the constant admin mistakes I have encountered. Visa charged but order declined, 2 weeks of patience, waiting for the status to change, 2 emails later and almost another two week the order is now processed, until this point eventhough it had been payed for it was ignored in the declined pile, never to be looked at again until I inquired. Yes It is only a $99 gun and yes we all like Can Am for these deals but if they take the money in full the tranfer should start now not 4 weeks later. Some of us have had bad luck that has nothing to do with the wait or patience.

Some people say to stop bugging them with inquiries and they would get more done. In some cases as in mine the only way to see any progress on an item paid for is to stay on them untill it is out of there hands

And yes I could have canceled but I didnt, and yes I think I have been very patience. and yes I have had good dealings with them in the past and will order from them again.

Are you serious man? Have you been reading this thread at all? My #####ing was simply because my order wasn't even processed until almost 2 months after the fact- that has zero to do with the CFC (now I am waiting for that).

Our second problem was that the customer service was almost a 1/10 for some of us. My first email went unanswered, my first and second call I was BS'ed and my last email went unanswered. It's a matter of customer service and actually providing some sort of update so we don't end up #####ing and whining in threads like this.

We are not impatient little #####es we are paying customers who would appreciate even the minimalist of services.

On the otherhand I am very pleased that CanAm was able to offer us a pistol for $125 beans. I just hope they are more prepared for future orders like this.

so there are what half a dozen unhappy customers thats what 1% :)

sometimes it happens that there are fowlups in the system. So they are overworked, but the provide a service, and you are getting what you pay for. You want cheap firearms well less overhead means less service and more mistakes.

Please everyone who jsut can't wait cancell your orders so I will move up the list.

Well, guess what? My order has been marked "processed" for a while now, so I was hoping that somehow I would end up receiving my gun, even though the status had not been updated to "complete", like it happened to somebody else here. Well, wishful thinking on my part, I guess. Curious to find out how far along we were on the ragistration process, I called the CFC and asked. And guess what? They haven't even been contacted to start the registration transfer. No wonder the CFC takes so long to get back to them, if the registration request hasn't even been placed, yet. I don't think the CFC will be calling back in a hurry to give an answer to a question they haven't even been asked, would they?

Anyways, I tried to breath slowly through my nose not to let this new development bother me too much, and decided to give the friendly fellas at CanAm a call. Well, again guess what? I got the answering machine "again", only this time the mail box is "FULL"! Man.... alright, I'll stop here, enough whinning for the day. Sorry

Arent they out of the country for a couple of days?

Meh, quit pissing and moaning. With all the "negative vibes" floating around this site about retailers it is lucky there are any at all...I'm waiting to, but I'm not throwing a temper tantrum about it.

Grow up.

Guess what, buddy, I tried that...but reply was...sorry the order was processed and CFO is working on transfer now...we can NOT cancel it.
Waiting is not a problem... Answer like" we run out of stock and it's on a back order" way better then no answer at all...
Ones again, as everyone else is posted WAITING is NOT the problem...POOR COMMUNICATIONS IS !!! :bangHead:

Outstanding data woodchopper! Would you mind substantiating your claim? Any kind of documentation to prove it would be appreciated. Thanks.

more of a question then a claim, and there is the :)

I also suspect that some people are wearing their underwear too tight :D

Maybe, hehe... except I wasn't wearing any when I wrote that!

Anyways, I think I'll listen to the comments of all the spiders here and just exercise my patience a little more. I'll just try forget about this order until it shows up, if it ever does. It's what I should have done from the beginning. :bangHead:

Thats what I'm doing as well..... Forget about it and one day it will show up..... maybe.

All I know is I won't get excited untill they bill my CC, then maybe I'll start checking every coupla days or so.

Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean... Calm Blue Ocean...

From what I understand.. (all hearsay fyi) Canam got like 500 in the first shipment, and then 3 to 4 times that in the next, and then he bought all he could get his hands on.... So a dozen lost orders doesn't seem that unreasonable.....

On the other hand if it was my order that was missed... I'D BE PISSED I am going through something simular with One Shot Tactical Supply right now... No communication AT ALL, They billed my CC 3 weeks ago and not even an order confirmation outta them.

I feel your pain (well not actually your pain...but I do understand), I've only been waiting 2-3 weeks, stilll pending..... Not even close to some guys out there

Keep a stiff upper lip fellas, have a little faith in Canam!

Im just curious why ive payed up and havent received it? He charged me about a month ago for the gun. I dont mind waiting but once they take the money and dont ship the item out thats a bit lame. They should charge you and proceed to ship the item out the SAME day you pay. Even though its only $130 its just the point.....

Some of you sound like the guys that go to Walmart for good prices, then ##### that they don't get the personalized service they receive in a small store where they pay twice as much:rolleyes:

We don't know, customer service in the form of communication has been nonexistent. The rumour they are out of the country comes from others on the board.

It is not a rumor, CANAM posted it himself in another thread. He is overseas. Customer service has not been non existent. It has been CANAM doing their best to supply info and goods on an outrageously high demand for a few of their products.

Everyone should remember that they are not the only customer and the m213 isn't the only product CANAM is selling, and retail sales aren't CANAMs only business and they do not have a huge number of staff.

It's a $100 dollar pistol. Be happy you have the opportunity to buy products at that price point.

I am back now guys.
First, Thank you for your patience.
I respond to every email I get, period. Some I will forward to Mark if it is about order status, but the answer is always the same, it is waiting to be processed, at the CFC, needs more info, or shipped.
We have added 3 new people since Feb 21. Once they tuck in orders should get caught up.

PS. We are open 9-6 PST. We come in and there are dozens of VM waiting, plus the phones are all ringing, sorry we cannot often even check the VM. Please call back as late in the day as possible for a better chance to talk to us. After 4pm is best.
