I have seen a plastic one years ago that looked decent......made in the states somewhere?

Very true ,I have a pinned 5/30.Looks cool.....but that`s about it.Never seen the plastic ones ,except for Tapco (Cabela`s USA) nice to handle but had to put back on the shelf ....%$#@&^*%%$

I use a punch w/ wooden handle for popping trigger group (I made it just for this purpose)

when you say popping , you mean removing the hammer ?

if so , i just use the existing cleaning kit container , i slid it over the hammer and use it as leverage to push down, it works great . in the pic i popped the two hammers .

Do what I did - take a trip to the States, buy and pin them there. You are never going to find them for sale here or a US vendor willing to ship.

I bought 2 Tapco 20s and 2 Tapco 5s, polymer. They need a minor mod to make them accept stripper clips (assuming you still want to load via strippers) and otherwise work very well. Swapping takes a little getting used to because there is no magwell, but you can learn to do it. Personally, I still use strippers rather than swap.
