STI GP-6s have arrived!

STI's Chris Schirmer said that STI had sent a GP6 to Blade-Tech - and that Blade-tech soon would be making holsters for it.

But Blade-Tech doesn't answer emails.

I'm looking for an holster for ipsc, and uspsa to fit the GP6, Do you have them in stock sean? pr do you know what i'd be looking for?
By Canuck223's recommendation i got Uncle's mike holster for my K100 and it fits not bad. Than I bought Ghost Holster for K100 from Double Tap Sports (look on sponsors banners). The manufacturer has GP6 model as well. But, probably, it is not stock item. For me i took about a week or two go get it shipped from suppler.

Just talked with STI - Blade Tech is definitely making kydex style holsters for the GP6. 20 have already been delivered to Shooters' Connection in the USA. Blade Tech dealers in Canada like Josko should have them soon too.

Of course, if you're not going stateside, you can always get the most popular, winningest competition holster of all time - the CR Speed - in addition to all 1911s and CZ patterns, the same model will handle a GP-6.

Last week, they were in Slovakia. They have to go stateside then to me, so I expect the end of the month.

Question on the overall size of the GP6. I have a S&W 659, which actually looks identical to the 5906 (same plastic wraparound grip). Grip wise, how do the GP's compare in terms of width and overall feel?
Ie: feel like a gun or a table leg block? Have shot Glock and Berreta 92's, don't like that blocky style of grip much. SIG's ok, but feels a bit wide to me. Thoughts?

Not Blocky at all. Very ergonomic.

+1 I never liked the Glock grip. The Beretta was too fat even for my large hands. The GP6 is near perfect.

so can i buy one directly from you (freedom ventures) or should i buy it threw gunnner? any cheaper?

I think you'll find that there is little difference in price between dealers, so place your order with the dealer you have the best relationship with.

For those of you waiting for extra spare magazines for your GP6, they're presently in Slovakia.

It won't be long now.
