I am new to gun nutz and I enjoy shooting on a regular basis. I own a variety of guns ranging from ar's, handguns, hunting rifles, and varmit guns...........However there is one gun I have always wanted to shoot and that is the 50 cal. If anyone would let me shoot theres or knows of anywhere i could go to shoot one I would appreciate the info.

Sherwood Park is about an hour and half away from me. You supply your ammo and I will supply the rifle. PM me when we are into spring and better weather and I will hook ya up with the chance to see what a .50 can do.

Oh yeah You will go shooting with ST but won't drive the extra couple of miles and come shoot with me:p
And I thought we were buddies:D
Tell ya what I will make the trek to Genossee this summer if you will

help me move the shop this spring so I can get some trigger time before I am too old to remember how to shoot.:p

How come I alway's travel south to shoot with you, and you only came north once!! We will be hooking up this year again, gotta get our dates for hunting season together this year. I think I'm about due on the Antelope draw. Maybe ST would rather drop a deer with a .50BMG than punch some gongs.

Now theres a thought, deer are far more fun than gongs, they sound different too.
I notice you failed to mention helping with the move however:p

That sounds awsome guys, I would be willing to meet where ever and when ever depending on my work schedule. Dropping a deer would be an experiance thats for sure!

By hunting season I will have yet another 50 in my collection, by then my very own Nemesis will be here. I would hate for the deer to get used to being shot with the same old rifle every year:p

Almost willing to drive to Alberta myself! :)

EESA (East Elgin Shooting Association) has an open house in June. Member there has a home made 50 that I shot 2 summers ago. At the open house (if he shows up this year) you can shoot it.

More or less south, south east of London.

The infamous mod Stormbringer can give ya some info if interested.

Something I should look into. I will keep an eye out for info on that event.
Thanks
