Anyone have a trick to remove the damn 10/22 barrel. First i take down the V block and their two screws. I try everything, force it with hammer, screwdriver etc the barrel won't move.

Same here, after the v-block or whatever it's called is removed, the barrel for me just twisted out.

Put the reciever in a small vice with some rags to prevent marring, put on some rubber gloves and try and twist the barrel.

You could take a page from the Lever Arms pinned SKS barrel removal problem.

Leave the block and screws off, and fire one round at a time until it loosens in the reciever.

(Just kidding, sorta.)

Ok thanks, it was very tighten to the receiver. I give some hit with the hammer to move the barrel.

I had the same problem. I tried taping it with a hammer, but no luck. I ended up just pulling back the bolt and letting it go repeatedely. After a few times the manual cycling of the action bumped the barrel loose.

This is the same method I use to remove my Green Mountain barrel. When I got it, the shank had to be sanded down a bit to fit my receiver. I fitted it fairly tightly to the receiver, so this is how I get it out if I ever want to remove the barrel.

I also drilled a cleaning hole in the receiver, so I can clean the barrel from the breech without having to remove the barrel.

I tried this on a new 10/22 I had with a tight barrel and all it did was shoot the extractor out across the room...I never did find it.
