Hey Guys;

Well, like most of us, I browse the EE here quite often... I came across this product made my "Munch", a member here on CGN. Munch's mount allows you to put the quiver on top of the bow, a MUCH better location IMHO. It balances the bow better and allows you to place the bow on the ground without crushing the arrows that would be mounted BELOW the bow with the factory mount from Excalibur...

There is NO problem seeing through the mount, the mount and hardware seem very sturdy. The Munch mount has two broadhead tightening slots in it, a very cool feature!!!

Here are some pics of the "Before & After"... I'm VERY happy with the purchase, Terry @ Munch Mounts, shipped VERY fast and the product is WAY better in person than the pictures I saw. (I don't blame Terry, ha ha, I'm no photographer & I guess he isn't either... A little "ribbing" for ya Terry, from an impressed & HAPPY customer!)

Cheers
Jay
P.S. YES, Huntress wanted HER's done first, :bigHug:hence the pics of the Vixen, then my ExoMax...
P.P.S. Munch, contact "greentips" if you want to advertise on CGN. I think LOTS of people will want your mounts!!!

Excaliber bows absolutely rock!! I've owned 2 and their product and customer service are second to none. Any accessory that makes this bow a little better is fine by me. Good job!!

Nice!

For those tacticool types, you could mount your quivers on the top and bottom, and more on your belt as well:p

Has nothing to do with tacticool, As mentionned above, having your quiver centered with the bow and uptop helps with the balance of the Xbow... not to mention not having to remove the quiver when shooting from the bench.

I had seen this mount in the EE, and my first impression was that it seemed a little too big and possibly heavy? Do you have an idea of the weight?

I have a similar setup on my Vortex, except its smaller, probably a tad lighter, won't interfere with the STS system and its lower and may not vibrate as much (vibrate loose). here's a pic of the type of setup I've got.

The bottom line is there are pros and cons to every system, but they are all a step-up from the factory Excal mount IMHO.

hey, where can i get those string stoppers that you have in the second pic,?? Do they work well on this bow?? and where did you get your quiver mount thats in the bottom pics (the green one the looks like a Y)?? I have that bow, and would never giv it up!..

.. now here is a thought i had... a second set of limbs added to the front, and stings to connect the tips. Would anyone think that might work to increase velocity and power, or would i blow up the bow?

Now another question.... i don't let it change temperature so it is always outside, but has anyone else had a problem with the paint fissuring on the limbs to the point that it flecks off.. i already swapped out my first limbs at the factory, but now after two more years, the second set have started.

It's the STS system, you can find them pretty much anywhere on the net, E-bay, excalibur forum, local archery shop...

the green one? are you talking about the groundpounder mount? Have a look on the excalibur forum.

Have you been drinking?

I'd try contacting the peolpe at excalibur, Although I'm pretty sure the limbs aren't covered under warranty, the paint flecking off might be.
