Any suppliers selling AR 180bs?

Please don't flame me. Tried searching and couldn't find anything recent and relevant.

The title is pretty self-explanatory.

I can't even seem to get my hands on a VZ 858.

They'll have stock... this time next year... for real, I called them about 2 weeks ago on this very subject. Their last shipment (I was told) took a year for them to receive and they expect that at least, or worse, this time around.

I agree. Get a Mini-14 first, but keep an eye out for an AR180B - DON"T give up looking for one. I bought my Mini-14 while I had an ad looking for an AR180B in the EE, and I now enjoy shooting both of them equally.

I emailed John from Wolverine a couple days ago. He told me they don't even know if Armalite is going to manufacture anymore 180bs and that they are not taking any pre-orders for them.

As for the Mini 14 I would like to get one, either that or a CZ. I'm actively looking for a CZ, but if I can't find one I'll try and get a deal on a used Mini.
 
I was just on the Armalite website and I couldn't find an AR-180B listed anywhere on the site as a production rifle. They have parts listed but no rifle. This is starting to look like they are dropping it. Has anyone heard anything official?

I asked that a month ago... no one knows for sure. But when a company drops a product from their website and catalogue...
 
I'm working on a project that requires I know the answer to my own question about availabiltiy of the AR-180B, so I emailed Armalite. I received a prompt reply, as follows:

"The 180B is not scheduled for 2009 production. The model may become available in 2010."

Now you know as much as I do.

I think there was one for sale at the Fredericton Gun Shop ((506) 454-8181) last weekend. Don't know if its still there

If that's what supply and demand has in store for us, I'd hate to see the price of an A2-style flash suppressor or a used M4 collapsible stock in a few months time ...assuming that you could still find U.S. exported .223 ammunition on store shelves to use them with.

####...I sold my modd'ed to the tits version for $1250 ish with a bunch of plastic mags and some ar mags. But I am not here to profit..just to shoot and party at the end of the day.
 
I forget where I read it on the net, but I heard they are " improving the rifle, ie. the lower",mayhaps 2010 will be a better version? or the source I read could be complete bs.

thought I'd stir the pot....:p

ps. reliable gun(sponsor) had some in janurary..
