Type 97 Waiting thread

You obviously did not read his response. "Mark should get through all the emails by the end of the week" Those are the the emails that were already waiting which includes several of mine. So by the time I send another I will baking my A** on the beach before I get a reply, if i get one.

Looks like Chris is online more often and responding to this site.

BTW...called twice this week and left messages.

For those having difficulty reaching CanAm:
  • CanAm has 4 phone lines, if they are all busy, you fall into voice mail.
  • CanAm is located in BC, they are 4 hours behind the East coast. So 8:00AM in Moncton is like 4:00AM in B.C. They are not in the office at 4:00AM.
  • Mark is slow answering e-mails, he gets a large volume daily and has to answer customers on the phone all day long. But he eventually answers them.
  • It is VERY rare that I can not get thru to CanAm on the phone, I speak to Mark and Chris often. If you get voice mail, try a few minutes later to get a real person as all 4 line are occupied.
  • The T-97 rifles are still not released, when customs releases them, the very first thing CanAm will do is POST on CGN. This long awaited post will spread thru CGN like $hit thru a goose!
  • Calling or e-mailing CanAm on the T-97 issue creates delays in them serving other customer requests like pistols, shotguns and the other stuff that they sell.
It is now 4:18AM in BC, too early to expect CanAm to pick up the phone. Guess I'll go to work then. :(
 
So griff, what you're saying is that if I phone canam at 4am MST, canam won't answer? WTF is up with that? I thought he never slept, like chuck Norris, except he waits to giive us updates.

Ya know what, I quit, Mark said he would pay me for my time by giving me a T97 for free, but ya know what, the T97 aren't coming, they never existed, it's all about publicity and post count, the more people believe in them coming the more people are buying M213's & outlaws and that is good business. So everybody shill out and go place an order for M213's ect.....or even better, let's harasse another dealer by starting a thread about them getting grenade lauchers for the T97 :bangHead:

I will go and sit back eat some :popCorn: while watching my GF do a striptease, usually it takes my mind off of everything else. Ah darn, I just checked, I am out of popcorn... CanAm were is that order of Chinese Flied Rice you promised me last month?? Oh well guess I will just focus on the nudie show............................

Welcome back Carter, to think I would let somebody feel relaxed about this, this is serious stuff, without my T97 I just don't feel.... well let's say, excited... by my GF, my virility is suffering because of it.

Now like the rest of us, sit on the edge of your chair, cling your teeth and tremble in fear while at the same time continually hit "refresh" <F5> until CanAm has spoken the written word of " They are in the shop, transfers will start at midnight...."

I read this on another board and it made me feel all warm inside. Now keep in mind that this is all UNOFFICIAL NEWS, but it sounds great if it's true.

Well who knows how much truth there is to this, but if it is legit Canam will soon have these in their posession and then shortly ours. Here's to staying optimistic and it would be excellent to hear that Canam was able to collect them on Friday. I hate it when it hits the weekend where there's no chance of getting an update.
 
I didn't, but thats because I didn't really care if I bought one of these or not. I knew it was going to be a gongshow so when I did break down and order (mid Jan) I didn't expect to actually see mine till like april. And if I don't get it till like sept I could give a rats ass. I have plenty of other fun guns to shoot in the mean time.

Seriously though, I don't know what I'm going to do when it does get here.. I'm going to miss the thrill of doing my T97 thread tour. I check (in order):

and every couple days I google it too.

lol It sounds pathetic but I do most of it on my phone when I'm waiting places... so it's not THAT bad.... right?

I hope it comes before my baby daughter.... the wife just might have to drive herself to the hospital if it's coming in the mail on that day....

Hahahaha. Yup, that was you. You have to give me props on minding your privacy. I didn't name names. Anyways, you're absolutely right though. Once I do receive my rifle, it's going to free up a big part of my day. LOL.
