LTATT in Quebec

Just have been approuved for rPAL upgrade.

I want to speed things up. Can I apply for LTATT before owning a restricted firearm. Do I have to wait for the rPAL number.

I dunno about PQ but here in ON the club applies for your ATT. I dont think you need to own any restricted to get a LT ATT.
 
No, I think this is a great idea and I applaud his enthusiasm and initiative. I expect that you could indeed apply for an ATT before getting the handgun. The pre-requisite for obtaining a handgun in this nazi state is the club membership. Far as I'm concerned, the gentleman here is simply speeding things up!

just leave it blank.
thats what i do.
on my 2nd ltatt and i didn't write down any of my s/n's.
for time put something like:
00:01-23:59 and 23:59-00:01
make a photocopy of your membership card and send it in the mail
w/your att application.

give them a call about 3 weeks after you send the form and POLITELY
ask about the status of your app.
i almost guarantee she'll say something like:
"oh yes,i have it here and it will be mailed tomorrow"
p.s. they don't speak english so ya better speak french;)
 
good luck most of the member of haute gatineau send there re application for this year att. none of them received them yet? the club secretary call again this week.there answer is they are swamp. maybe if they would let us apply for 5 years they would not have this problem.
 
Wow. Here in Manitoba, it took me like 5 minutes to get a 5 year ATT. Then they just automatically send me an updated version every time I purchase a new restricted...
 
Ok then , what about waiting for ltATT and than calling each time for a short term att to go to the range. I will go 1-2 times a week. :D

Strange, I sent my ATT renewal in October and received it between Christmas and New Years. I'm in Gatineau but I shoot in Ontario which, if anything, should make the process longer.
 
I'm already set up with RCBS single stage for my long rifles when I get more handguns I'll go progressive. For now i prefer to get as many handgun possible. I think I have been bitten hard :)

You will not get an att if you dont own a restricted in quebec.Most club members renew their att in January, best time to do it November or December.

La Sureté du Quebec, now sends letters to legitimate gun owners of restricted that did not renew their club membership, to do so, or get rid of their guns within 30 days.

That would explain the delay.
