cross pin removal

Hi guys,

Is there a secret to removing the cross pin in the peep sight pin on a Lee Enfield No4 Mk2? I've been trying to tap it out and have had a punch snap in half without budging that damned pin.

I believe that "cross pin is shouldered on one side and the other side has a small pin through it that requires removing first.

yeah, it's the small pin I'm having trouble with.

Start it with a bigger punch then finish with a punch smaller than the hole size. If you can't get it out just drive the main pin out, it should shear off.
